Maria can't explain what she is or what she's done. After all, it shouldn't be possible for a human to conjur fire from nothing but pure will, but that hasn't stopped her before. She can't remember how she ends up bloodied, beaten half to death on a deserted doorstep in the middle of the night, but she can remember him, bringing her in. He's a little reserved but she doesn't mind, especially as they have something in common: neither one is supposed to exist outside of nightmares and folklore. Few people know Maria exists. He stuttered as he stared at her freshly turned wolf. She growled in response. "Doesn't matter, I'll break both of you." He smirked.
