What do you do when the one person you trusted most just leaves? Better yet, what do you do when they suddenly come back? Karter Summers is about to find out just that.

As children, Karter and the now infamous One Direction member, Niall Horan were the best of friends. You know, the inseperable-since-birth kind of best friends. The kind of friendship everyone else is jealous of. That is, until his sudden fame came in the way.

Karter is left back home, but they are still close at heart. They text, email, all that jazz. But, then even that connection stops. Niall is gone for good, and Karter is just a memory of the past, left behind in the dust, watching his shadow fade in the distance.

Then, the unthinkable happens- Niall returns to Ireland with some other band members, ready to reconcile and expecting his old bestie to take him back in a heartbeat. But, Karter is having none of that. She has a new best friend- Jordyn Marshall, a hyper, crazy, caring girl with a passion for sports and dancing.

But, as old feelings return and new ones develop for everyone in this oddly matched group, friendships are tested and trust is lost. Can everyone make it through in one piece?
