“We’re going to be step-siblings Harry, we can’t do this” I reminded him, trying to provoke some sort of reaction. He removed himself from me, his hand leaving my thigh and his warmth that radiated from him diminishing in a few short seconds. He turned around to face me, sitting cross legged in front of me, gazing at me with his dark eyes. They stared intently into mine, before flitting down to my lips then back to my eyes.

He dipped his head down, his warm breathe washing over my cold face in shallow huffs, the only source of warmth I could feel from being outside at this time of night. He pressed his forehead to mine, nudging our noses together causing my eyes to lazily close.

“This is so wrong” I whispered, before opening my eyes again to see his fixed on my own. Our close proximity triggering butterflies to erupt in my stomach and the feel of his skin on mine sent a jolt through my veins, waking up every cell and nerve ending in my body.

“Then why does it feel so right?” he whispered back, before finally closing the short distance between us.
