Land beyond the clouds. A paradise of Sky spirits told of in heathen myths. Lucas has never doubted its existence, but neither did he even think of actually finding it until meeting Kress - a boy close to his own age who also carries one of the pendants said to be the keys to this mysterious place. Accompanied by Mrei, a princess desperate to find a cure for her sick father, the children set out on the journey to change everything.

THIS IS A NANOWRIMO NOVEL. It most likely still needs a major rewrite. So...nitpick away! Every suggestion (even "this scene sucks") is welcome.

She's eager to get things done quickly, but Flame was there to offer his guidance and protection. Flame is a mysterious stranger who happened to come out of nowhere, but the two felt instantly comfortable in front of one another as soon as they met. There was a connection they couldn't understand, and Flame was determined to keep her away from harm, but at a distance. Secrets will be revealed and memories will be remembered. There are important key elements to discovering a new meaning to what happened to them in their childhood. This involves having to get involved with an evil organization that wants to destroy the world. Happiness will have to wait, since there is willpower that needs to be awaken. A forewarning: This story includes many heavy themes and I felt the need to write them with the reality of how they happen. As such, be cautious. This book contains mentions of sexual assault, murder, violence, substance abuse, and overall conflict. There are also quite a varied amount of scenes with some 'gross' aspects to them. She wakes back up in a castle dungeon and is soon let out when she tells the king who she is and is deemed trustworthy. As she overhears a conversation that a war has been declared and that the evil king has declared war for power and land, Violet says that she'll go over and try to defeat the evil king, just so she can earn peoples' trust.
