Rye is an 18 year old girl who wants nothing more than to live a quite, happy life with someone that truly loves her. Just like everyone else. But unlike everyone else she is living a life of pain and fear due to an abusive drunk she calls her boyfriend. 

Jessi is a 20 years old girl with great job and simple life. But her heart is empty. The only hard times she has really faced is trying to find a nice girl to share her life with. All of her past crushes have turned out to already be in a relationship or very much not into women.

While on an outing for her job, Jessi runs into the most beautiful lady she as ever seen. The problem with this? She was with some guy who had his arm wrapped around her. Something about the both of them seemed off though and Jessi was intrigue, wanting to get to know the women and know why she didn't seem comfortable with the guy.
