Hanahaki Disease is a potentially fatal disease where the victim regurgitates flower petals when they suffer from perceived one-sided love. (Even if the person the victim loves feels the same way, if the victim is unaware of those feelings, the disease continues). It can be cured through surgical removal, but the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear. 

That's exactly what Keith Kogane was diagnosed with. Now he only has one week. 

He loved him too much. He doesn't want the feelings to disappear.

You see, he thought Shiro didn't love him back.

It's a shame that that's what killed him.

They cough up blood and petals until they find new love or get surgery. Some even let the petals worsen. The longer you have Hanahaki, the worse the petals are. If you get the surgery, it removes all emotions so you would feel nothing. Eijiro is head over heels in love with Katsuki but Katsuki doesn't return his feelings. Eijiro develops a disease called Hanahaki (see above) and this story is about his recovery and what recovery he will choose. Will he try to find new love? Or will he give up his emotions to no longer feel the pain?

Eventually the flowers fill their lungs and they die. It can be healed if the person's love returns their feelings. But if the person gets rejected, they will die faster. Or they can have an operation, but they lose all memory of their love. (im bad at describing ok😭) What happens when izuku is put between life and death for his love? Will he choose to lose all memory of his dear childhood best friend, or will he pull himself together and confess despite the risk? -smut -boyxboy -izuku midoriya x katsuki bakugou all characters are not mine!
