This story follows Myah, Erik, and their cat squidge, on an adventure that'll make them fight for their lives. Their somewhat normal lives on the surface soon take a turn when they are introduced to a girl who has no name, but only a number on her clothes.
After a trip back from collecting supplies, Erik runs into this girl who fell from above. Did she escape from Valenz? Is she working for Valenz? Myah and Erik's suspicions are thrown away when they notice the glowing symbols on her forehead. Now with their newfound "friend", they need to keep moving, because Myah and Erik aren't the only ones curious about her appearance to the surface.
Will they figure out why this girl is here?
Will Myah finally face her fears?
Is Erik who you thought he was?
