Naomi Lanton and Jacob Kalen are normal teenagers, right? Wrong. They have been born with powerful gifts that have yet to awaken. It all starts with a dream. They are linked through similar nightmares that occur frequently - both involving a certain someone named Damian. His trademark? Heterochromatic eyes; one a blazing mixture of red, orange, and yellow the other a glacier blue.
Lately there has been a rumor floating around on the internet of a demon king who resides on Earth until he is old enough to send the world spiralling down into eternal chaos and destruction. However, the rumor also states that two people can mean either the end or salvation. When the two hear this, they wonder if they happen to be that "dynamic duo". Similar dreams, a creepy little boy, and closely parallel lives - what doesn't point to that conclusion? However, if that happens to be correct, can they survive the brutailities that will lie in their path? A wolf in sheep's clothing is at large and he will stop at nothing to break Naomi and Jacob (both mentally and physically). But who can they trust? After all, nothing is as it seems...
