Everyone has secrets kept deep within each of our own kinds of oblivion. Clandestine secrets that we lock in a chest, away from the rest of the world. Secrets that we're too ashamed to even remember, but it always echoes back. It echoes in our memories, our dreams, our minds. And it frightens us, leaving us to think that lies would be enough to patch everything up. But, it doesn't. It will always come back. Our demons will never stop haunting us until the day where everyone knows what kind of sick monster we truly are under our skins.

For, a perfectly executed lie will always need a saccharine facade.

But, for how long can we keep this up?

"I swear," she spat, trying to calm her breathing. She rose a finger and looked at me dead in the eye with hell burning inside of her. "I will kick your ass if you don't get the fuck out of my sight."

Could she even hurt a fly? I don't think so. She has been coping up with my bullshit since day one, and not once did I see her flip out.
