Before anyone asks, this story was intended to be a one shot, and an experiment for new things. Bare with me! This story is about a soldier, a soldier of many who gets assigned a very special task in a foreign land. This is intended to be purely fictional, non-canon to the Overwatch Lore as a whole and only to fill in a gap that I saw with one of it's main characters. Also, the maturing of one Soldier from boy into man is put to the ultimate test, to make the ultimate sacrifice. If you have any interest in Overwatch, I highly recommend you give this quick read a look. Or if you're a sucker for a tragic love story, this might be for you. If you read it, please..
