Black magic. Psychics, witchcraft, practices of an art everyone in this day and age believe doesn't exist in this world.
But what if it did? What if, after all this time, it was there all along?
Magic runs on 2000 year cycles on earth. The last magicians of the magical age used magic to preserve themselves for the 2000 years without magic. But now it's returning, and there is an unsettling presence coming with it. Now, it is up to the ancient magicians to train new magicians, face new threats, in a technologically run earth being introduced to a power much more powerful than people can comprehend.

(To my current and new readers): I have updated the format to how I ACTUALLY tend to write the book, which is in fact segments. The chapter lengths are still the same, but now I'll be able to update it more frequently, to make it better for you, the wonderful readers of mine! :)

Aetheria, a land once vibrant with magic, now lies in the grip of a darkness that refuses to fade. The war that ravaged its lands left scars too deep to heal and secrets too dangerous to reveal. The magical society, once the guardians of hope, withdrew into the shadows, sealing their world away from the mundane, leaving the ruins to fester in silence. But silence breeds fear, and fear breeds nightmares. In the ordinary world, four unsuspecting individuals are about to be dragged into a reality they can barely comprehend. They carry the blood of Aetheria, a cursed inheritance that binds them to a fate they cannot escape. As the barriers between their world and Aetheria weaken, they are thrust into a dark and twisted reality where nothing is as it seems. Mishaps plague their every step; hardship becomes their constant companion. They struggle to accept the horrors unfolding around them, questioning their sanity as the lines between reality and nightmare blur. Powerful enemies, born of ancient magic and unrelenting hatred, emerge from the shadows, determined to destroy them before they can understand their true purpose. The gateway to Aetheria is opening, and with it comes a storm of chaos and fear. The four must confront the darkness within and without, facing battles they are ill-prepared for, in a world where trust is a luxury and survival is never guaranteed. In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been edited

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

Seriously check his stuff out. I'm in love with that imagination.***

MAGIC SPAWN. Urban fantasy. When a boy becomes a tool for an evil mage, his brother must fight them both. A ten year old boy stumbles into a cemetery crypt to waken an ancient magic on Halloween night. The small town must defend themselves from the undead horrors brought upon them by a dark mage from another plane of existence. Then they learn a terrible secret--the boy is not of this world! He is a magic-spawn! If the necromancer captures him, then the results will be catastrophic for both their worlds. This work is an editing draft, so please give me feedback as to the details and pacing of the story. This will be appreciated! NOTE: A self-contained urban fantasy novel. This story tells about the origins of characters from the series: Nethermost Realm, which is also up on Wattpad. Both can be read separately.
