Moonpaw, Brambletail and Poppy face their biggest fears as darkness strikes. Soon, they find themselves asking similar questions; Where should I go? Who can I trust? Where do my loyalties TRUELY lie?
Moonpaw struggles to cope with clan life as her mentor pushes her past her limits, and she learns a secret that turns out to be even greater than StarClan.
Meanwhile, Brambletail tries hard to fit in with the rest of Shadowclan as his father makes him deputy at 15 moons. Suddenly, he has a dream that puts all the clans at great risk.
In the midst of the chaos, Poppy always thought that she was happy with the simple, pampered life of a kitty pet until a lost warrior cat comes to her front door. Curious, she lets the visitor inside, unrevealed to the fact that it would change her life forever.

He is strong and independent, but his morals quickly change when he is visited by the most hated cat in all of the Clans. ***DISCLAIMER*** The time gap between Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 is literally a YEAR, so, I must warn you that the cleanliness of Chapter 8 and onwards completely emulates the first seven chapters of this book. I certainly don't think that they are BAD, but I am definitely going to fix them up once I've got more time (just some little grammar tweaks, updating plot points, and fixing some dialogue). So, just keep that in mind when you read this. I hope you still enjoy! Each Clan has their troubles, but this evil- this evil makes them even worse. Blossompaw is the apprentice to Crystalwing, the medicine cat of AirClan, but even with such an important role, she always feels ignored. Everyone swoons over her, sympathising with her, caring for her, when all she wants is for cats not to do that, to listen. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
