It has been 10,000 years since the Deceiver stole the stone of Truth from the Creator's people. For those 10,000 years, the people of the have lived in darkness, though they do not know it. The Remnant of Truth, which fled north in the final battle, has lived in deepening despair. It seems that all hope is lost.
