13 years after the rebellion was over. The factions were restored, but some things changed. The new Divergent are sent out of the city, and to the other cities to check up on the other experiments. Grace Andrews, your typical 16 year old Candor, goes through the choosing ceremony with one thought in mind. She's truly terrified. THIS IS REALLY REALLY OLD!! I WROTE THIS WHEN I WAS SUPER YOUNG SO BE WARNED!!! What it would be like if there was no war. There is a lot Christina/Tris in the first 4 chapters (I think it's the first 4) because my sister totally ships it and has been forcing me to write Tristina, but anyway check it out.
