Two breads of Humans are established, the Connectors and Connections. The connectors can access other dimensions, universes and the multiverse. Since outlawed in 2004 if any Connectors are found breaching to other worlds they are taken and forced to relive their live in a facility as normal beings. Violet's world just got a whole lot more fictional.
