Peebles was a small town, nestled between lush green hills to the west and a large lake to the east, known as Eddleston water to the locals. Eddleston water was beautiful, surrounded by vibrate grass on one side and framed by a dense forest on the furthest side. It is unknown what lies beyond the forest however there were tales, past down for as long as the village had existed, that told of a magical realm that existed just out of sight. These stories claimed that Eddleston water was the border where the magical and non magical worlds met and that anyone who dared to cross would be trapped on the other side... forever.
