BEFORE YOU EVEN READ THE DESCRIPTION >>

Let me just get something straight. This was the first fanfiction I ever wrote. It's riddled with run on sentences. The "romance" is portrayed horribly. I hate what I've done to both Rey and Ben's characters. The plot is horrendous. Therefore, the ONLY reason it remains on wattpad is because for some reason, people enjoy it.

Whatever floats y'all's boats, I suppose.

Here's the description for the book that I wrote mid-January:

Set as an alternative plot line to The Last Jedi, Rey and Ben Solo's force bond serves as an anchor to tie their love together. Yin and Yang, the two are balanced with the force. But- how can they fight each other when they're so clearly connected?

This story is my wistful thoughts and feelings expressed into a fanfiction plot point, set directly after Rey and Ben have fought the Praetorian Guards in Snoke's chamber. Spoilers lie ahead, you have been warned.

LONG LIVE RIAN JOHNSON'S REYLO MINDSET💚

--By the way, this is my first ever fanfiction. I'm trying my best lmao constructive criticism is welcome --

Following the events after The Last Jedi. "Just a dream, it was just a dream," she says aloud attempting to calm herself, but the feeling doesn't dissipate, and her heart is still racing. She stands and walks towards the doorway to the fresh air outside, trying to get the images out; a child her child and his. She feels sick and faint, is this a panic attack? "I appreciated how much you fleshed out the story, truly making it a potential movie in the franchise. I can't not mention the romance. You truly made Ben and Rey's relationship believable on many levels. From his temper and passion to his devotion to Rey, I loved how you didn't make light of his past so that we can accept him easier. They complete each other and their love brings balance to the universe and gives them what they have always wanted - true acuhceptance and companionship." "I have not encountered anything so truly amazing since 'Bloodline' (Claudia Grey)." "I have read so much fanfiction, normally I don't read smutless stories, but this one is so well written, beautiful ending and I couldn't stop today until I finished it." "Only in the darkness can you see stars." - It has been six years since Ben Solo succumbed to his fate and betrayed the Jedi Order after being seduced by the Dark Side. With the aid of his immense power, the First Order has cast a shadow over the galaxy reminiscent of the Empire. Former padawan Lyra Escara has been put into hiding and forced to change her identity, the once-honorable title of Jedi now one that promised a deadly target on her back. As a handmaiden to the queen reigning over Naboo, she leads the quiet life of a protector while she anxiously awaits a call from the Resistance, a beckoning to make her valiant return to the fight where she could finally avenge her slaughtered friends and family, and give the galaxy hope. But when a trade deal goes astray and the First Order abducts the queen and a handful of her maidens to use as a bartering chip to force their terms, Lyra finds herself a prisoner on their lead ship. Knowing she must hide her force sensitivity to protect her life as well as her queen's, the last thing she expects is to be reunited with an old friend... one she thought had died six years ago, taking her heart with him. Sensing conflict in him, Lyra's hope flares upon learning that the feared Kylo Ren isn't too far gone just yet. Facing unsettled conflict, old wounds and the constant war of good and evil raging around them, could Lyra's boundless love and determination be the spark that will save Ben Solo from himself, or will she destroy herself trying to be the hero when it matters most? - Book Two (THIS IS THE SEQUEL TO COVET, IF YOU HAVEN'T YET YOU MUST READ BEFORE YOU CAN READ THIS STORY)

"We've passed on all we know. A thousand generations live in you now, but this is your fight." A familiar voice, Luke's, whispers. Luke Skywalker stands net to R2-D2 the sky around him burns shades of orange, yellow and red and behind him a Jedi temple burns. Kylo feels his father's hand upon his face the watched as his father falls into the abyss. "Your journey nears its end." A sinister voice now whispers, and a flash of blue light reveals a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers filling the vastness of space as blue fire leaps between them. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics. I'm a Reylo shipper but there will be no major smut- one additional slightly adult chapter at the end of the book. #Bendemption #Reyloisendgame #1-starwarsfanfiction 25.12.19 #1- Dyad 4.5.20 (May the 4th be with you) #1-Bendemption 4.4.20 #17- Reylo 25.8.20 #1-episode iv 30.11.20 #2- reylofanficyion 6.1.22 'This is legit my favourite reylo fan fiction OMG it's so in character and like literally perfect for episode 9 I'm dying this is amazing.' Over the past year, Ben has changed considerably, becoming disillusioned by the First Order and implementing a plan to end the war with the Resistance as its victors. Now, ready to execute the last step of his plan, he has to confront Rey once again. Unfortunately, she has her own opinions about his lofty plan. In this story, it turns out Snoke wasn't lying and he really did create the connections between Kylo Ren and Rey in "The Last Jedi." (Note: This also means there was no Force connection between them on Crait since Snoke was dead by then.) So, there is no Force bond and there's no special link between the two of them. But...that doesn't mean they weren't profoundly affected by the experience. Excerpt: He knew the moment she noticed him, felt it like a stab to his core through the Force. He saw the fierce determination in her eyes and he tried to match it, but was certain he failed. All he could feel was sorrow. The tempo of his steps increased as he covered the ground toward her. He watched as she turned her body toward him, bringing her magnificent dual-bladed, bright white lightsaber to bear, her lips pulling back in a vicious sneer as she sought what she had yet to realize he was here to offer her willingly. Deflecting one last bolt and seeing her raise her weapon with the start of a battle cry intended to lend her extra strength, Ben thumbed his lightsaber off and dropped to his knees at her feet, his head bowed and his eyes closed. Do it, he thought desperately. End me. End my misery.
