Jade Abella is an angel who comes down to earth without a side to heaven or hell. She pretends to be a human and goes to high school and normal stuff, her boyfriend dares her to go into a hotel known for having killer monsters inside because he believes she is ruining his reputation and is cheating on him with his best friend, Hunter. She's sentenced to stay there for a week, in hopes that she dies. This launches her into the world of Shadow-hunters once more.
