Years after Awakening, One of Robin's and Chrom's descendants are able to carry peace to the following generation.
The following generation carried both Grima and the Exalt's brand in separate parts of their body.
That is until one Exalt carries the fusion of both brands, she who has experienced multiple wars or battles against multiple mad kings and corrupted people.
With a vision from Tiki, she and her older cousin went to leave Ylisse for a while for 4 years. And went on service under another kingdom in hopes to deal and provide help against the incoming threat.

The Shepherds and the new Exalt race to protect the future and everything they hold dear. Lucina: has come to the past to protect the future. She tries to avert the events that lead to her destroyed future with the deaths of her parents, as well as the resurrection of the Fell Dragon Grima.
