Benjamin and Lucy had a friendship that has lasted since they were children in elementary school. The first-grade project is what brought them together but a bond within the cherry blossom trees is what made them inseparable. However, throughout their childhood, a costly war is being fought. A war that is drafting every able-bodied man to fight if they are seventeen or older. However, doubts begin to form as Benjamin's seventeen birthday nears doubts that could tear them apart.
