Imagine a world were mind reading is possible.

For Rory it is. Thrown into a world of Channellers and deceit, Rory must learn how to harness the "special ability" she's been granted with. All while struggling to not get caught by government officials or Bounty Hunters. And, to make matters worse, (or better, depending on how you look at it) another Channeller may be falling her. All of this seems almost impossible to keep up with, but Rory manages to do a decent job of it.

So here is her guide.

If it is in any other situation, Cameron would have laugh but now he is in too much pain that he ignores her sarcasm. "I need your help," is all that he could muster. ••• Hazel Ryder used to be a person that was always for everyone when they need a listener, given that she is gifted with the ability to read people and is an empath. She could read people by staring into their eyes and even sometimes, by a touch while at the same time transfer emotions into them. But that was two years ago. Now she is this cold girl that everyone knows about but is afraid of, resulting in her being called 'witch', 'freak', 'weirdo' and all the names that goes along with it... But to Cameron's eyes, the new guy who had just moved there to finish his last year in Hillary High, he sees Hazel as a mystery. He is intrigued by her ability but scared at the same time. Cameron, with his charming smile and cheerful personality, hides some dark misery from his past and he is not about to let some mysterious so-called witch and her so-called ability to read people know about it. Fourth, time manipulation occurs. This stage of powers involves more then trait. Fifth, final power is self regeneration. Able to grow back skin cells and basically be invincible. But not quite. After discovering his mind reading ability Ayden reveals to best friends Cyrus Jones and Amber Monroe what happen to him the night of his birthday. After he convinces them that it's the truth, here starts the long journey of finding his birth parents. During there adventure they come across other people with similar abilities but not quite like Aydens. They only posses one trait. Will he find out who he is?

they've known of each other for three years-same hallways, same classes, same friend groups orbiting around each other. but 'knowing of' someone isn't the same as knowing them. rory is blunt. she's a little closed off, and saves her best self for only the people who deserve it. but once you've pushed past that guard, she's full of light. kane is quiet, and humble; but beneath that, he's observant, tentative, kind, and annoyingly hot. senior year throws them together when he starts tutoring her, and suddenly, they're seeing each other in a way they never did before. kane can't handle being the centre of her attention. rory wants to know more. however, it turns out that getting to know someone can feel a lot like falling. and maybe, it's worth the risk.
