Most fear him because of how he uses his spare time. 

Mark has the appearance of a teenage boy, his normal life is far behind him. He goes to a normal school, he has normal hobbies, his life appears to be that bleeding of normality. However he is all but normal. 
No one fears him for no one knows him. 

Both hold a Dark secret, each life changing for the other to know. They both hide it away, not telling anyone the truth, it doesn't even seem real. 

But only one choose this life by choice, one had to tell the truth, the other to show what is real.
