She chuckled at my enthusiasm, "Fiiine, it all started with your mother, rest her soul-" she looked at me sadly, "she was a special kind of werewolf, a wolf the Moon Goddess hadn't put on this earth for over a century till her. She was called a breeder wolf." I cut her off with my question, "What's that?!" She looked nervous, "It's what a special female werewolf was before mates existed. They helped populate the first generations of werewolves. When they were old enough they went into heat, but it's much worse than an average she-wolfs. It lasts around a month and men would come to help her get better. Then as a 'thank you' she granted them a pup from her magic belly." I giggled at her silly term as another question flooded my mind, "How'd they help her?" I tilted my head to the side expectantly, "You're far too young now pup, next time when you're older."

Being a werewolf wasn't all bad, I had a pack, loving yet annoying family, friends, tight knit community. The one thing I really hated was the season. The simplest way to explain the season was the six weeks us werewolves procreated, females went into heats, males rutted, and omegas, like me, got our asses chased like they were made of gold.
