Sakura Haruno was secretly born as a twin in Suna, her brother, born only minutes before her, Gaara. Upon noticing her bright green eyes, the doctors immediately knew she was special, and it seems as if almost everywhere knew. A few days after Sakura's birth, the village was put under seige. The current Kazekage, Sakura's father, knew that he had to protect his daughter at whatever cost, as she would play an important role in the future. So, he sent her to Konoha, where she would be protected, at least until she was old enough to protect herself.
