Maya and Anastasia live in the wonderful city of  Winside, also known as Sunset City.  Sunset City is full of young people with hopes and dreams of fame and fortune. There's always something going on in this city, and strangely enough, it always seems to happen at sunset. It's the start of the hot summer months, and there's a huge party happening in the weekend. Everything is going great, until sunset. One of Maya's friends disappear, and the city is no longer this happy place. Everything seems to keep going downhill from there, and no one for sure knows what is going on...
