Colin Night is eighteen years old, and he just so happens to read people's minds. He's invisible to them, too. So what does this mean? Yes, Colin is partially immortal.
A long story made short; Colin comes from a realm called Trachon, but he and his mom were sent away to live on the earth for 50 years because Colin had blue eyes. Blue eyes was considered bad omen in Trachon. The secret of Colin's eyes managed to stay hidden until he was ten, after that the secret was found out and the mother and son were sent away.
Soon after, Colin's mom disappeared, leaving the poor boy to fend for himself.
We skip eight years later, and Colin had inhabited a mansion that he thinks is his own. But then, surprise! A bunch of teenagers are sent to find a perfect shooting spot for a horror movie, and the mansion seems to be their ideal spot. Colin is forced to leave his precious Mansion.
This is his adventures in a strange planet.
