"Let me go." I cried, struggling to get out of his grasp. Joker smirked.

"Scared of me? Why?" 

"Because I can see what you are capable of. And I know you could do it to me as well." I whispered, trying desperately to move away from his nearing lips.

"Oh I know I could." his lips stopped an inch away from mine and I froze, not wanting any of my struggling to make my mouth touch his.

I raised my leg and kicked him away. He combined a loud groan of pain with laughter. As he regained his strength, I silently cursed myself for not using this time to run away. But I knew that he would've caught me anyway.

"I thought you were scared?" he said, huffing and laughing.

"Yes. I am terrified. But I am not weak."

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Hearing Imelda speaking, Arthur blinked and looked down at her. She smiled and nodded at him, "What is it you're looking up at, Arthur? What's your stars, as per se?" She leaned casually against the wall; arms crossed regardless of the rustle of the plastic bag as she crossed one ankle over the over. He became a little nervous, admittedly. Imelda just looked at him patiently, smiling kindly all the while. She didn't mind him taking time to answer. "I want to go into comedy." Arthur said, watching her smile widen, she looked interestedly at him. "Standup, mainly." Arthur never thought in a million years that he would cross paths with someone who genuinely seemed to care and want to know what he would say; likewise with how he felt. Imelda Henderson was a little ray of sunshine in an otherwise bleak and dismal life, one which Arthur was more than glad came into his life. However, he was soon going to set into motion events that even he could not foresee or wholly control, but what's the point of controlling that which needs to be freed and let loose on the world? I made a name for myself in the dark underground of Gotham at the age of eighteen making my parents proud of their psychotic little girl, all the scum and villains knew who I was then one day lead to me being caught by Batsy and his little bat family then shipped off to Arkham Asylum Prison where I'd find him! #3 in Ringmaster on March 27, 2019 Prolouge The conversion is quick, the history of experiments bleeding out in front of everyone. I watch as it begins to flow through him, and he shakes, his hand that's holding his gun, unsteady, and I clumsily trip over my feet in an attempt to take back away from him. I regain my balance and take a unsure but steady step towards him and put a hand on his arm, trying to gain his attention, but it's no use. I'm close enough that i see the monster wake itself from its slumber inside of Ryan. His eyes stare at me, blankly and i watch as they transition from his blue eyes to the golden eyes of a cat. I watch as his pale blonde hair begins to grow black from his head, as if someone had spilled ink on him, and it was seeping through his hair slowly. The wound he'd had heals itself, the skin repairing itself from the inside out and the bullet is pushed out and falls to the sand without a sound. "R-Ryan?" I ask him, and as if my voice had awoken him, his eyes grow aware and his eyes narrow on mine, the hand holding his gun steadying. I see the predator that has awoken in him and I struggle to keep myself composed. "Ryan, I know you're in there... Come back. I- You and I are okay. Please just... Fight it off." I whisper, so that the crowd can't hear. So that they don't alarm the monster before them... So they don't throw away their chance of getting out of this alive. "Fight it off?" Ryan asks with an uncertainty rarely found in his voice. "Yes, fight it off. I know you can do it. If you don't. All these men will get hurt." I say trying to reason with him. Trying to help him see clarity. Then, he smiles, a large grin and it seems sinister from him and he peers at me through his hair that has fallen on his face. "Did one of these men shoot me?" He asks and I am caught off guard. "Yes..." I answer him, biting my tongue before i can say more. Ryan merely looks at me and grins... Before he turns, raises his gun arm and fires.

As for Batman, he's been acting quite different this past year ever since he started dating and eventually marrying Dr. Harleen Quinzel. When the Killing Joke incident happened Bruce was of course feeling remorseful and great pain for the Gordon Family as it reminded him of his very own trauma, but he handled it very differently this time around and learned to use that raging pain to fuel him positively. All that is thanks to Harley who taught Bruce to love again and made him a better man in the process. But now a new incident is about to arise as their strength and morals will be greatly tested once again as the respected Bat Family. When the Joker causes chaos and gets caught as always he is then sent over to the Asylum where their worst nightmare will eventually manifest when the Joker gets loose and takes over the Madhouse by releasing all the infamous supervillains of Gotham. The duo will fight through their infamous rogues' gallery, Joker's Gang, and also against the ticking clock as they hope to unravel and stop Joker's horrifying plan for the city.
