"Let me go." I cried, struggling to get out of his grasp. Joker smirked.

"Scared of me? Why?" 

"Because I can see what you are capable of. And I know you could do it to me as well." I whispered, trying desperately to move away from his nearing lips.

"Oh I know I could." his lips stopped an inch away from mine and I froze, not wanting any of my struggling to make my mouth touch his.

I raised my leg and kicked him away. He combined a loud groan of pain with laughter. As he regained his strength, I silently cursed myself for not using this time to run away. But I knew that he would've caught me anyway.

"I thought you were scared?" he said, huffing and laughing.

"Yes. I am terrified. But I am not weak."

Waking up, Emmeline Reine didn't know who she was or why she is in an abandoned building, gun pointed at her. Little did she know, The Joker has been looking for her for years and takes her amnesia as an oppurtunity to get her back.

Gotham City at night was a cesspool of crime, drugs, murder and all-around bad guys. The Joker and Harley Quinn are two of the quote and unquote bad guys by the GCPD and Batsy!....But to me, they are my dear old Daddy and Momma! Call him psychotic and cruel if ya want, but to me and my mom, he's sweet as coconut cream bomb pie! My crazy momma and daddy were locked up by Batsy when I was ten years old. The stupid good guys didn't think the Clown King and Queen of Gotham had a little Clown Princess named Y/n Quinn or on the streets of Gotham with Aunt Poison Ivy: Jester. On and off again, my parents broke out of jail and returned home til I left home and my mom was sent to Belle Reve. I made a name for myself in the dark underground of Gotham at the age of eighteen making my parents proud of their psychotic little girl, all the scum and villains knew who I was then one day lead to me being caught by Batsy and his little bat family then shipped off to Arkham Asylum Prison where I'd find him! My own Harlequin! HAHAHAHA!! This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character. She smiled and nodded at him, "What is it you're looking up at, Arthur? What's your stars, as per se?" However, he was soon going to set into motion events that even he could not foresee or wholly control, but what's the point of controlling that which needs to be freed and let loose on the world? But then likewise, who says that needing to slowly let go and transform needs to be done alone? Everybody needs a somebody in their corner, and plus; misery loves company.
