I bumped into someone due to the rush I was in. I was going to fall but the kind man that I ran into was over the shock faster than I was. He grabbed my arms and I felt sparks like crazy, not knowing if I wanted to know who my mate was due to most of the men here being complete dicks, I hesitated in looking up. When I did eventually end up looking up knowing I couldn't avoid it, I was shocked. Not with how gorgeous this man looked, but that he wasn't familiar at all. Needing to keep an eye on potential bullies and bullied I knew everyone in the pack. I had sworn to protect it until I couldn't. Then I remembered why I was in such a rush.
"Oh, my God. I am so sorry. I have to go, I'm late for something super important." I say rushing past him, probably leaving him confused and angered. I don't know whether he planned to reject me or not, but now was not the time for that, my alpha hated it when someone was late, and I was currently very late.
