GORE WARNING: there's burning of faces, blood, and mention of chopped body parts.
This is a work of horror fiction that is set in Big Spring Creek Falls in Washington State because I like the setting, no other reasoning needed.
Anti and Jack have been compliant friends and an odd pair of "twins", more like man and demon with the same face. Together, mostly Jack, they planned a camping trip for just the two of them on a possibly trustworthy site, Jack didn't check. The hope of a somewhat tranquil week in the woods fades away as they soon find out the locals are far rowdier at night when the cover of darkness hides all mistakes.

The Gory Details (Gross)
Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated. A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town.
