In a kingdom ruled by men, a young Spanish woman is handed over to England to be the Tudor's new toy, and eventually, the queen. This woman is Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of Henry VIII. Her journey began long before her marriage and ascension to queen, and ended long after she was replaced by the infamous Anne Boleyn. Her story is often overshadowed and forgotten, but she may be one of the most remarkable women of her time. In the royal court, the walls have ears, and the loyalties of the servants and spies determines who really rules the kingdom. Watch through the eyes of one of Catherine's most trusted maidservants and whisperers, and observe the glamorous world of Catherine of Aragon and her downfall at the hands of lust and love. HISTORICAL DISCLAIMER-- This story is backed by history, though there are many characters of my own imagination. The four maidservants are characters that I created, however, places, events, and many other things are true. If you see an error, ask me about it and I will tell you if it was meant to be that way or not.
