Battling the urge to be who she truly is, Kaylin seems to have a tough life. Still dealing with the emotional back lash of her dead mother, who she blames herself for. With her mom gone, there hasn't been anyone to help her manage her ability.

 Her father hasn't seemed to be much of one and because of this, she has felt alone in this for a while, but is she? Her friend Renay has been there for her, unaware of there mothers passing, but knows something has been up with her. Her curiosity might prove to be a strain on their relationship, but will Kaylin be able to keep this secret for long?

As if there wasn't already enough, an new boy soon shows up in town and has seemed to catch Kaylin's attention. What could this mean for her? Is she prepared to take on something she couldn't possibly fully understand?
