An unexpected snow storm traps neighboring business owners in their stores. Kelly Manning is a hard-driving woman determined to make her wishes known. Davis Williams is a kind, patient man who takes pride in his town and his neighbors. The snow makes it impossible for Kelly to get home even while she's determined to do it. Davis could leave her to the consequences of her actions, but he can't do it. He tries to help and she rebuffs him at every turn.
