{ON HIATUS}

This was the time of the birth of the great realm of the gods. And this day specially was of great celebration to the beings of this vast city. But small fires burned the golden city as small skirmishes took place around the royal palace. But none of them were as intense as the one taking place in the palace itself. Beings of great power fought to gain the upper hand in combat to tip the tide of battle which seemed to be unwavering. The defenders- though less in number, clashed with great ferocity to defend their realm's future. Suddenly, something that could not be comprehended by either army took place. A bright emerald light shot up from the most secure chamber of the palace and rocketed up into the sky, making the natural light seem to dim in comparison to it. It left the realm in a flash of light leaving everyone momentarily blinded and stunned by what had just transpired. The Aesir in a fit of anger and despair rushed the enemy massacring them in the thousands before the few stranglers made their escape. No victor could be decided in what took place. Meanwhile the green sphere of light continued to float in the abyss of space in the Great Tree gathering cosmic energy of light and darkness for centuries resulting in it to expand continuously until energy broke out in a reaction causing the core of the sphere and its shell to separate in a bright explosion of fiery emerald sparks and flames firing them in different directions in the blink of an eye never to be seen again. But some mused that, the core of the sphere- a bright, shining emerald flame, made its way into a realm to ease a parent's woes. But it was never prepared to be sucked up fully into the infant's body....

Freydis can't remember which island she originated from. She can't remember her family name. She can't recall the last time she slept peacefully. ...She was too young when the raiders stole her away - from her family, her life, her future, her home. Freydis was beaten down and preyed upon for so many years. She was their slave. She believed there was no good left in the world. Then 7 years after she was taken, a legendary dragon appeared. Black as night and jade green eyes in slits like a cat, the dragon attacked without mercy and faster than you could blink. All that was left in its wake was destruction. The only warning of attack was a quiet but sharp whistle. This dragon found Freydis in the wreckage it created. She thought that was it - she would die. Then it did something she never expected. The slits in his eyes relaxed into orbs, and he nudged her to get up with a purr in the back of his throat. He could smell her injuries and her fear, and he wanted her to get up and keep moving. Suffice it to say, Freydis and that black dragon became friends. He cared for her, and she had his back. That is, until they were shot out of the sky by a stupid Viking-want-to-be. Oh, and forgot to mention she has ice powers she can't control. Thank you, gods of Asgard. Note the sarcasm. ❅ Highest Rankings: #3 gronckle #4 icepowers [Follows HTTYD1 - RTTE Season 2] [Book 1 of the Fire and Ice Saga] I DO NOT OWN HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, only Freydis and her plot line, along with additional storyline that takes place. Please Note: This is not an Elsa fanfiction. Her image is only to help provide an illustration of Freydis. I plan to draw my vision of Freydis when I have time. The image of Elsa is a good alternative until then.

Hela the Dragon Tamer by Harli40

Hela has always been... well. Strange. She was quite. Hardly ever spoke. She looked weak and frail but was all but that. She wasn't a fan of violence. She had a long fuse. She was patient, calm, and collected. She was just... just strange for Viking standards. (Cough* calmer cough*) She 'couldn't' (cough* wouldn't cough*) kill a dragon. So she worked in the armory with her good father Gobber. She never really spoke. No one spoke to her. Her father was Chief. He was Stoic the Vast. He was strong. He was buff. He was huge. He was loud. He was nothing like his daughter. Or so they thought. In reality Hela was smart. She thought before she acted. She observed. She planned. She trained in secret at the dead of night. Where no one and nothing can see her. There was more to Hela then others thought. Secrets she kept close to her heart. Secrets her father refused to believe out of fear for his daughter's safety. Hela had a birthmark on her back. That of a dragon it's wings stretched across her shoulder blades. It's head resting at the nape of her neck it's tail reaching down to her mid back. She could understand dragons. Manipulate the elements of the world. Such as fire, water, earth, plants, air, lightning, water, ice, and so so much more. She had hair of fire, blood, autumn leaves, and dawn. Her fathers hair. She had eyes if Icy, electricity, water, and sky. The most brilliant and brightest blue ever seen. Her mothers eyes. Then there was her dragon. A hybrid. His father was a Night Fury his mother a Razor-whip. Making him a Night-whip. This is the Story of Hela Haddock. A dragon named Sharpstorm. And. A male Viking named Asger. A How To Train Your Dragon FanFic with some changes and twists.
Howling Echoes - A How to Train Your Dragon Story, The Echoes, Book 1 by DovefIower

I could feel a cold, icy gaze barrel straight through my soul. Actual crystal shapes frosted white marked the edges of the creature's vision. A long, thin tail with a thin frost layer gently wrapped around me. Normally I would've run, escape through the trees to the best of my abilities. But I couldn't. The icy blue gaze was hypnotizing. The dragon gently puffed frost in my face. Small, gleaming white teeth caught the snow. No matter how brilliant this dragon looked, however, I couldn't fight back the only other thought that was running through my head. I was gonna die. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kiara has lived on her own for as long as she can remember. But when she finds her fate caught with the Dragon Riders, secrets are uncovered about her identity, and she has to choose between fighting her father...or facing the only friends she'd ever known in battle. Secrets, betrayal, and lies, all circling Kiara's life as she struggles to fit in with the Riders, and find where her fate truly stands. OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS. If that isn't your thing, I wouldn't recommend this.
