It a hell to be so detached from the world unable to hear what others can; feel emotion from speech. I'm deaf physically and mentally. A constant struggle every day. 

Sitting in homeroom I look around trying to decipher what's going on, till Niall slipped me a note. 

"there is gonna be a new exchange student from New York and I heard she's a total babe ;)"

I laugh punching my friend in the arm. "why are you telling me this, she won't have interest in me. " I say and Niall shrugs. 

"you never know those American girls are full of surprises."
