In the land of Adrena, there are two stones- the Light Ethereal, and the Dark Ethereal.
The Spirits- supernatural creatures with tremendous powers- either side with the Light Ethereal or the Dark Ethereal.
The Dark Spirits and Light Spirits are constantly at war, although that doesn't usually effect the common mortals.
However, the Dark Spirits have a weapon that the Light Spirits cannot possess- Vengeance. When the Dark Spirits finally manage to take over, many are frightened, for they wish to end the world.
Dawn won't allow it.
