Devil's Blood

"It's been 20 years since we have lost the big battle and the war erupted. I'm alone with Aiine, my only friend in this unforgiving world. I have lost many of my comrades, but her, I will not fail.
What's my purpose if not keeping her safe? What's my purpose if not revenge? Why was I the one who survived? I am no more deserving of such a fate than my dear friend, Gordun.

*This is a story about Gelil. Once in a party of mighty warriors and mages, now a lost old man looking for a purpose in his melancholic life. He lost his friends and now lives in a constant pain of guilt. When will it all end? How will it all end?

**Inspired by my friend's characters for our D&D story. I'm DM-ing our sessions, making a story with them. But I wanted to make something on my own, something for my friend. And so Devil's Blood came to be
I will update the story as I write more chapters. Also, my dear friend whose character is Aiine is sort of a beta reader. I credit her for pointing out errors of all sorts to me and making my story that much better.
