My name is Tamaka Ranmaru. We've been at war since before I was born. It isn't a choice that I have to fight. Anyone old enough has to be a soldier. They claim we're saving the world by fighting, but we're just sent to die. We are only kids, after all. The world is slowly dying along with us. The only reason I live is to be a sacrifice in hopes we'd win this war. I'm thrown onto the front lines and I'm not sure if I'll survive. There is no glory or heroism in battle, there's only death. Will this horrid war ever end?
