In a far off kingdom of Ethicia, lives a young maiden of what they call a Sorceress in the Village of Summerwick, who secretly wants to find love. On the outskirts of the village, within a forest called Hemlock Grove is a trapped sorcerer in who mysteriously casts a song for the maiden to hear. Once a year he mourns over his last love in a prism of amber for a jail cell. But we all wonder, how did he end up trapped in the heart of Hemlock Grove?  What is the reason he's in the amber prison? Meanwhile, in the heart of Ethicia, Nightwell Palace is being cautious of a new evil, born from the queen of shadows. A mysterious man who is the king, seeks to stop his first son's bride-to-be's lost love who is the new threat to the region of Derabari and of Dragara.
 The new threat is none other than his second son. He will do everything he can to stop him. But since the second son had been banished from Nightwell Palace, he began search for a woman to marry as well. The daughter and royal heir to a new yet ancient kingdom. will he continue working alongside with his deceased mother's goal and take over Nightwell Palace to put the world in darkness? Or will he be stopped by the sorcerer and the maiden along with their allies? Find out in this story full of ancient magic, a triangular romance, a wicked betrayal, the willowing sorrow, an unforgivable conflict and a forbidden rule that was never meant to be broken.
