An old school friend invites the protagonist to his home in Ghorka, Nepal. After a few months staying there, his friend returns for a while to England leaving Mark in Nepal. The world is hit by powerful solar storms which knock out everything electric. His friend, Sabin, has to return to Nepal come what may, so he begins a journey on foot across Europe, where he meets a fellow Nepalese, and they join company. Their journey is hastened when they are picked up by a Sikh pilot in a small plane returning to India. Taking advantage of lulls in the solar storms, they hop across the Middle East until they reach India. The plane cannot continue, so they split up on foot, with the pilot heading to his home, while the two Nepalese men head for theirs.
At last Sabin finds himself in Kathmandu, where he leaves his friend and picks up a small packet of seeds from the Post Office. Shortly after, he arrives in Gorkha where his wife and Mark are waiting for him. No sooner has he rested, than a group of Tibetan monks arrive in the village carrying messages to the Dalai Lama in India. They also carry one for Sabin, from his uncle in a monastery near Mount Kailash. His uncle requests his presence, so Mark and Sabin leave on horseback and head into the Himalayas.
After a long and arduous journey they arrive at the monastery, where the monk asks them to take a message to a monastery further north which is unknown to the Chinese, and not on any map. They set off into the mountains, and find themselves sheltering in a cave from a terrible snowstorm. Coming out of the cave in the morning, a group of unusual rescuers are waiting to take them to their destination. A walk through a tunnel in a mountain, leads them to a hidden valley of warm sunshine and green fields.

Lucy Caldwell suffered a disaster in her childhood - her house was burnt, which turned fatal for her parents. She grew up in a children's house together with other orphans. She could never forget the fire incident and was sure her parents were murdered, so she always wished to investigate the case when she grew old enough. Lucy, like all the other children, frequents the Spirit School, where children are taught to control their inner spiritual energy. When they reach 15 years of age, they befriend spirits that reside in the vast Spirit Forest in East Land and receive the Bond Item - an object from them which permits them to summon their friends whenever they're in need. Each person is able to form a bond with a single spirit. However, there are certain spirits that never approach humans, are known as man-eaters and have marked severe borders on their territory, eating anyone who trespasses on them. Such is the clan of the tailed foxes - the Huli. Lucy has already reached 15 years, so she goes together with her classmates to the Spirit Forest to befriend a spirit and bond with them. However, while sitting around a bonfire and listening to her classmates' scary stories, she remembers the dreadful day of how her house caught fire in past and, worked up, she rushes off into the depths of the forest to cry off her anguish. But as elders often say, dense forests are definitely not a place for little children to run around, for the danger lies in every corner, as Lucy soon comes to realise... -- The ebook version of "The Guardian Spirit" is available on amazon.com. for $0.99 on the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FSRWVMZ -- The Paperback version is available on amazon.com. on the link: https://www.amazon.com/Guardian-Spirit-Guardians-Nine-Heavens/dp/1717875971/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=

Book #1 in Sinful Series RUDRANSHxAADHYA "Do you know what I do with traitors?" His voice was hard but shaky, like he was barely holding back his rage. I shook my head, fear gripping me as I tried to stay still. His lips twisted into a cruel smile, amusement mixed with malice. "I make them regret it," he whispered, his breath warm against my skin. The knife hovered near my throat. My heart raced, each beat echoing my terror. I didn't dare move or breathe as his eyes searched mine for any hint of defiance. "But since you're mine, and I can't hurt you," he continued, his voice calm despite the heat of his breath, "I'll go after the one who dared to touch what's mine. He won't see the next sunrise." Tears filled my eyes, and I shook my head. A cold chill ran through me as his tone turned deadly. "I'll make him suffer," he promised darkly. "He'll beg for mercy, but by the end, he'll wish he never even looked at you." His lips brushed mine as he whispered, sending dread coursing through me. "And when it's done, you'll know how far I'll go to protect what's mine." I looked into his eyes, the horror of what was coming sinking in. There was nothing I could do to stop him. The storm was coming, and it would leave only destruction behind. Join Rudransh and Aadhya on their rollercoaster ride, where betrayal and mistrust threaten to tear them apart at every turn. In a world where loyalty is fleeting and the line between love and hate blurs, they must navigate the dark shadows of their pasts and the dangerous forces that conspire against them.
Sabbanath - Book 1 of The Elements of Destiny by RebelRed73

A tale of a New world with new opportunities for those brave enough to venture forth. A tale of a world with a long forgotten history but with a destiny that must yet be fulfilled. Share in the epic travels of Val and Thomas as they explore new lands and cities and interact with a myriad of diverse and interesting characters who inhabit this New World and watch as their destinies inexorably become entwined with that of the land they have been sent to explore. An excerpt from "Sabbanath" The sun was hot those three days. It rose in a clear sky in the morning and except for a few blessed times when a lost cloud shielded them briefly from its rays, it set in a clear sky. Sure, temperatures in Brehin, the capital city of Kiryn where he had been living prior to this expedition, got as high but Thomas didn't usually spend so much time outside in the sun. The introspective mood that had settled on the camp when they had left the temple and the encounter with the Giant Worm had stayed with them for the duration of the journey. The landscape of open grassland was singular and repetitive and it gave you a sense of waiting, of waiting to pass through it until you got to where you were going. In such an atmosphere, no one was in the mood to start a conversation. Talking was reserved for situations that necessitated it. Everyone rode with their eyes fixed on the horizon. The one thing of note was that Dawson was back in his saddle. He refused to stay in the stretcher beyond the first day and said that any discomfort in the saddle would be nothing compared to being bounced along behind a flatulating horse. That had brought a smile to even the captain.
