One Way Out

Seventeen year old Elizabeth Callaway, Liza for short has been bullied all of her life. The bulling has gotten way worse now that she's in high school and so has her cutting. She has been moved from foster home to foster home thanks to her alcoholic, abusive dad. Her mother left when she was five and her father would blame her being the reason her mother left. Her father would go to clubs, leaving Liza all alone during the nights, getting drunk and bringing home women that weren't her biological mother uncountable times. On nights that he didn't bring home the women, he would just come home plane drunk teasing her and slapping her, beating her until a shirt couldn't hide the bruises. One night while her father was at a club, she had the courage to call the cops. She wasn't going to be afraid anymore. That was until she was put until the most loving homes she could have ever been put in. That wasn't the bad part. The bad part was being made fun of at school because of all the bruises and cuts she had. The only way to escape the pain was to go into the kitchen when no one was around, get the sharpest knife in the drawer, take it up to her room and cut. She entered into a contest to win a backstage pass to one of One Direction's concert. Will that contest change her life forever?
