Olivia "Oli" Abernathy knows she has a difficult life. She had an abusive boyfriend, who was sent to jail for drug dealing, and she was physically and verbally harassed by girls and boys. She's never even had friends. Ever. But then one day, a local high school, Jameson High, burns to the ground and the students are forced to go to Carrow High, Oli's school. Oli is assigned to give a new student, Alex McCormick, a guided tour of the school. The two become best friends. Oli's life is finally turning around and she couldn't be happier. Oli and Alex go through life with laughter, tears, memories and teenage hormones. The hormones kick in to full drive, when they secretly become attracted to one another.
