Olivia Constantine has always thought that her life would revolve around her little sister Pearl and their emotionally damaged mother. But after dodging four possible chances to be put into the Grimm Tournament, a televised game for the Paramount people where 36 recruits are chosen to survive and fight in the ruins of what was once North America, she learns that this just isn't her year. Thrown out into the ruins with nothing but a knife, she's faced with a terrible reality that the rulers or Morbus have created. But then she meets another creation of the Tournament, the clones, one for each tribute. These clones don't support their twin, they hunt them. This clone will spill secretes to her that will change her reality for better or worse, depending on her choices. Love will be tested, fear will overrun the senses, and life's will be lost. (Yes, I understand that this sounds like the Hunger Games. I got the idea from the series. But what I have in mind is completely different from the Hunger Games once Olivia is out in the ruins {called beyond} )
