I woke up coughing and ringing in my ears. I opened my eyes to smoke all around the room, I can't even see Lana in the bed next to me. I get out of bed as quick as I can to wake up Lana. "LANA WAKE UP THERE IS A FIRE!" She jumped and woke up coughing just as I had a few minutes ago. She realized what was happening and grabbed my hand guiding me through the clouds of smoke. Dad immediately grabbed us both and threw us over his shoulder and ran down the stairs & through the front door. "Danielle, Lana stay here the firefighters are on their way. Your Mom is still inside, I have to go get her. Just remember, no matter what, we will always be together."

Time was standing annoyingly still and I think I may have forgotten how to properly breathe. "Panda you have to come sit down pacing is not going to-" pushing my hand out I stopped him from saying anything.
