Roses, signs and secrets is a story about three girls who are all different; in their cliques, fashion, backgrounds, even their perspectives on life. Jillian Johnson is a strong Christian, suffering with a chronic disease (cystic fibrosis), she tries to have a positive outlook on life, despite the disease. Aerie Kennedy is her Daddy's princess, she's pampered and expected to achieve only the highest of grades. She's distant with God, claiming she doesn't have enough 'time'. Whitney Mayfield is a rebel, she's cold and doesn't believe in God. Her opinion is always loud and clear; although when around her brother she always is gentle and caring.
