(Still not digging the title; if you come up with a better one, I'll dedicate a chapter to you.)
We six teenagers are special. As Danny would put it, " We were trained by a super-secret program. You know, one of the ones that's so hush-hush that if you know about it they'll kill you. They'd send us out to do it too." Then she'd swear and call 'them' rude names, but that's just Danny. Our killing days are over though; we were kicked out of training for mental instability. (Which was totally their fault.) Of course, they somehow thought that six immature trained insane spy/assassins WOULDN'T go out in the world and kill people? Well, they're mad at us now. What their solution? "Social Interaction." They're putting all of us psychos in a house together.

WORK IN PROGRESS‼️ ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── There was no noise; I was at peace, and ironically, the stone-cold pavement never seemed warmer as my blood oozed out of me and around me like a painted canvas. I was slowly losing consciousness, but my mind never seemed happier now that I was dying. The white walls with big bright lights did not resemble heaven; in fact, it was quite the opposite. I thought I had died. When I came to, I found myself in this strange place, disoriented and confused. I looked around and found another five pairs of eyes looking at me with the same emotion swirling in their gaze. Now, 15 years later, I train with these girls. Our makers take care of us, feed us, and make sure we are clean, healthy, and fit. Some of us never had that; that's probably why it took so long for us to realize we were being used. The dirty work they made us do, none of us questioned it. How could we when we were taken off the streets? For a chance at normalcy, we settled for anything, even if that meant blurring the lines of right and wrong. After a mission gone haywire, we started noticing, and now we strike back to take our voices and reclaim the power that was used on us as a way to control us. After all, they are the ones who trained us; we are just returning our long-overdue favour. ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── Rankings : Featured in Mystery-thriller #5 in Mystery-thriller on 7/12/24

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

"It's cold." The story I'm about to tell you is probably the least believable and most outrageous one out there, but I need you to hear me out on this. I was once a normal girl. Once, like, once upon a time, but this isn't a fairytale with a damsel in distress. For the most part I was happy, living in a foster home with my adoptive parents and four foster siblings who I didn't always agree with, but for the most part, life was good. All of that changed when some things in the house happened, I won't tell you the details, but I got very...unstable. I couldn't trust anyone and eventually that ticking time bomb exploded in the most colossal of ways. I ended up in what I thought was a hospital while my entire family ended up dead. From there on, I learned about something called the PASCI foundation. PASCI of course being an acronym for Paranormal And Supernatural Containment Initiative. They worked to collect people like me who were either super powered, monsters, or unexplainable phenomenon such as ghosts and people who love country music. I thought they were trying to help me. They told me I would do great things, and that I'd be such a great asset to have on the team. For the first time since I could remember, I felt wanted, and in a way, loved. That all changed when I found out what they were really doing with us. I can't just sit here and let them get away with it, now can I? If you play with fire, you're going to get burned.

"I won't take orders from him!" I yell at Bogo. "You have more in common with him than you think." Bogo rolls his eyes. "I don't give a damn!" I yell. "I'm right here." Blondy says. I couldn't help but groan and throw a punch at Blondy. He falls to the ground and wipes the blood from the corner of his mouth. I stomp away furiously. "I'm never going to listen to him." I mutter to myself. *** Hey! The names Annie! I'm seventeen and am a regular teenager that loves school............. HAHAHAHAH. Just kidding!
