"Look, I know this is risky, but all i'm asking is that you trust me."

"I do, every part of me trusts you."

Lucas Collins is what you may call a gambler. But not a typical gambler, like a poker player that'll spend all day pouring money down the drain. If you held a gun to his head and threatened to shoot, he'd probably let you.

Yet if you held a gun to Maci Augustine's head, she would probably talk her way out of it and even find a way to convince you to turn the gun onto yourself. In her own way, much like Lucas, you could also call her a gambler.

So together, is a duo that could be unbeatable. You can call them The Gamblers.

the art of letting go

Kezziah doesn't trust anybody. Refuses to let anybody in other than those who have never faltered, because she can't afford to get abandoned again. Through all the years of recovering, of trying to fill that empty void that the lack of a family left, she can't hide it anymore. She's scared. - Four years after her brother's band takes off, and she moved to LA with her adoptive family, Kezziah returns back to New York City with one goal in mind. Keep her head down, get her degree, and go home. She never expects to run back into him. She never expects to find a home in Nico García- with all his cynical remarks and teasing smirks. He's everything that she despises. She should hate him. But she knows he's scared too. Sometimes, you have to let go of what is hurting you. Sometimes, you have to let go of what is scaring you. Sometimes, you have to find the strength to live.
