It's been three months since the fall of Beacon and Varity is still captured by Gaston Chevalier. Raul has formed the Acolytes, a secret organization created to free all of his fathers test subjects. Grant has lived in Menagerie and helped with the funding of the Acolytes, and Lilya has been gathering information with the help of her families assassin clan. All seemed to be going well with these three friends, but Gaston has sent several of his Zodiac Knights to defeat them, including his newest recruit; Aquarius. Sequel to VRGL, this is the story of what happens when a team of old Beacon students tries to save their leader when also having to face her as an enemy.
