Sav couldn't stand her life. A drunken abusive father, no mother to help her in times of need, and abusive boyfriend that won't let her leave is all she knows, but after the police being called on her father for brutally beating Sav she is forced to leave her old life behind and try her best to make a new one.  After being removed from her father's house, Children Protective Services placed her in a new home and forced her to go to a new school in Chester, PA. Sav's original plan to avoid all human contact and keep to herself starts off as a success... until she meets Aster.
