The aftermath of Shadow's flight
The Thieve's Guild deteriorates once again after the loss of their temporary thief, Shadow.
Karliah finds out that Mercer is luring potential thieves into Snow Veil Sanctum and killing them, but she manages to save a young man by the name of Mikai who turns out to be Mercer's brother. Mikai joins the Nightingales, and becomes extremely close to Karliah, but as Shadow makes her final stand against Alduin in Sovungarde, the ground itself trembles, causing a falling tower to take Karliah's life. The trinity is now a duo as Brynjolf and Mikai continue to hunt down Mercer to stop him taking the eyes of the Falmer, while the world shakes, Irkthand colapses.
