Nino Smith is a teenager that no parents would like to have. She causes trouble, uses profanity and pranks the teachers, students and perhaps strangers from time to time. Her parents tried sending her to different schools ( 4 in total) but she just keeps on getting expelled. Her parents had enough of this and sent her to live with her strict grandmother( Mary) in a small town in Texas until she changes. Nino thinks they are wasting their time but she may be wrong; she may even fall in love with the person she least expected to.
